Summary- A while back a lady named Nina Davuluri Miss New York was crowned the winner of the 2014 Miss America Pageant, who the first contestant of Indian descent to be crowned Miss America. When her win was announced, so many racist and hateful words were said about her. People went on twitter saying hurtful things about her and her race. People were bringing up 9/11 and that she can't be in America or deserves it. This event is a beauty Pageant that crowns the most beautiful woman a tittle such as "Miss New York, or Miss America" etc.

Reflection- I don't think what people did was right. She deserved it, she is a very beautiful woman. I understand what happened on 9/11 and the people that died for no reason. We should learn how to forgive and forget, just because she was an Arab doesn't mean that she was the one who bombed us. All we're doing is depriving people from happiness and freedom. I'm pretty sure that girl was torn down and unhappy that she probably didn't want the tittle, or didn't enjoy it as much. To add on she is a female, they are sensitive, emotional and soft. If I won the award I wouldn't be happy, or enjoy it. I personally think that there's too much racism and criticism going on .
