I saw this article about a week ago on the channel 2 news. The title of the segment, Empathy Games. It wasn't directly based on anything racist but here's the most of it. Empathy Games, is the title of the segment. What are they ? They are games that depict the harsh lives of people living in 3rd world countries. For example, during the report they showed a kid playing this game and the character of the video game was an African boy running through bushes in old dirty school clothes and a gun on his back. They later went on to bring experts to say that Empathy Games can change the way you think. I believe that that was offensive. It is one thing to say young kids were being exposed to violent games and shows but they didn't even talk about how messed up these games are. Think about it, they actually make games to show how bad the lives of these people are. I think that is just wrong. The fact that we live in a country of opportunity without the fear of dying everyday doesn't give us any right to make fun of their lives. If it were up to me, I would definitely sue the companies that made said games.
