Gender Bias In Education
Gender bias is strongly seen in the education system. This bias is mainly seen in women, even though they are unaware of this. Women have worked hard to overcome this bias and take gender out of the education system. The existence of gender bias in organizational policies and practices may suggest that they have no power to determine their own success. Without an understanding of second-generation bias, people are left with stereotypes to explain why women as a group have failed to achieve equality with men. It is said that women who have managed to succeed that they are exceptions and women who have experienced setbacks that it is their own fault for failing to be sufficiently aggressive or committed to the job.
This is not surprising, but is definitely not acceptable. I think that women should most definitely have equal opportunities as men in the education system. Women in some casses are even more determaned than men are, and even I'm these asses men still have more opportunities the women.
I think this is a very interesting article because women are treated much differently when dealing with education. I believe women should be treated equally and fairly especially in the education system. To be honest most colleges have a larger student body of female so women when the education system treat women wrong they are treating the next generation of leaders.
ReplyDeleteSome woman do notice the bias and they worked twice as hard to overcome the bias on them. This is why woman are outnumbering men in college and succeeding a lot more then men and they earned every bit of it because they work twice as hard. Even with that women still experience bias and I believe they should be treated equally with not only education but with everything else.
